Stroke of Genius

September 9, 2014-Tuesday

We received 4 cans of sample paint from our awesome Behr rep Troy Revis.  We want to use the Masonry and Stucco paint but with the saturated colors he thought it might be too translucent.  So we tested the paint out and think it’ll be a good idea to layer the masonry paint with the more opaque Paint and Primer in One.

Admittedly, using a paint brush is not quite the same as using a high powered paint sprayer, but this gave us a good idea of the coverage, layering and color intensity we will be experiencing with the paint.

We’re a little nervous at this point because no matter how much research and planning you put into a project, you never know what’s going to happen til the shit hits the fan (or the paint hits the wall in this case).

So we took the plunge and ordered the paint.  24 gallons to start with, and we’ll go from there.
